I always had a grudging respect for fans who take matters into their own hands and “stalk” the celebs they “fan”. The Adivay of the 13 Municipalities of Benguet (updated 01.07.16)

I thought it only fitting that I write something about the Adivay, which is the celebration of the anniversary of the province of Benguet. Every November, she turns a year older, and Adivay is “hotter” than ever.

FF#1: Watching MIRACLE in Japan

I am well aware of the not-so-good connotation that the world “fangirl” brings to many people. And I don’t blame them. That does not mean, however, that I will completely wash my hands clean of the name. I won’t. I am a fangirl, and I realized that one way to show how much I embrace that identity is by starting a ‘FANgirl friday’ series of posts on this blog. And what better way to start things off on an official footing, than with a post related to my most cherished fandom? Let me talk about the time I watched a movie in Japan, and it so happened to be “Miracle“, which starred Aiba, 1/5 of my favorite group of all time, Arashi.

Big Bang MADE to Party in Manila!

We Like 2 Party. That’s the title of one of the most recent releases of Big Bang, and they proved the truth of that line. Granted, all VIPs (that’s what Big Bang fans are called) are already aware of what a powerhouse these five (or even separately as solo artists) are, but it feels soooo good to personally witness it unfold in front of our eyes. This whole 2+ hours’ concert was one epic party.

Taipei, Taiwan: Arashi Around Asia 2008

Gong Xi Fa Cai!!! So many reasons to be excited today. One, it’s a non-working holiday and, for that alone, YAAAAY! Two, I’m off on another adventure later this afternoon, so it’s bound to be another fun- and nature-filled weekend. And three, before I go on said adventure, I get to be nostalgic and take a walk down memory lane, almost 7 years ago!
