Typhoon Mario “Can’t Stop” CNBLUE Live In Manila

Outside, neighboring towns and cities are submerged in a flood. Typhoon Mario is making his presence felt in a not-at-all-subtle manner. All the way in Hawaii, Arashi Blast is happening (which is verrrry fitting). Inside the SMART Araneta Coliseum, the show went on. Which is a good thing, because I braved the foul weather to travel all the way from Baguio to catch this concert that I have been looking forward to in months. Thank you, CNBLUE and the organizers for not letting Typhoon Mario stop “CAN’T STOP” from happening!

  1. Hi Jeffer! I stumbled upon your post while looking for the articles about CNBLUE. I’m a huge fan also of the 4 guys and just wanna say thank you for this post. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to watch them this time because of the typhoon and thank God you’re there to relive it for me even if its through pictures and your own input. I’m so happy to have found another Boice in you…they are the only K-pop group I follow and I hope that in their next concert here we can see each other and fangirl with our own biases (Yonghwa bias here! <3) and I couldn't agree with you more that his hairstyle doesn't suit him, but I guess it's needed for his drama and WOW, oh wow! when LJH cut his hair — Gosh, he's so handsome…no words can describe him…I miss them šŸ˜¦ I'm sorry I missed their Cant Stop tour here, but maybe next time I will surely find a way to see them again, by hook or by crook kekeke…
Thanks again for the post…Love it!

    • Hello, maknaenamja~!

Awww, that’s too bad that you weren’t able to go, but better stay safe. I came all the way from Baguio for the trip, so there was no way I was turning back despite the foul weather. I also only follow at least one other K-pop group (Big Bang) aside from CNBLUE, so I always make sure to catch them when they come.

Hopefully, they will come back sooner (and during the dry season!), and we could meet up by then! šŸ™‚

      Thanks for commenting!

      • Hi there Jeffer, sorry it took me so long to reply, life took a hold of me. I hope to meet you too by then šŸ™‚ Meeting new people and making friends because of them is always a pleasure to me.

Btw, I just want to let you know that you write beautifully with your blog/journal. I had fun reading your travels especially when you went to Korea šŸ˜€ I assume you’re still single as you can do all that. I envy you. If only K-pop has boomed here in PH when I was still single I would been like you too kekekeke…sadly, it was the meteor garden who hit the Manila at that time šŸ˜¦ but nevertheless I still get to enjoy K-Pop now though limited, especially in the budget department šŸ˜¦

Anyway, I’m taking too much of your time. Hope to meet you someday – hopefully when CNBLUE comes back. They’re my only bias. Not that I don’t like any other group, it’s just that it’s only them that I follow the career and everything and with others I just watch them in music shows or in YouTube.

        Thanks for the reply šŸ™‚

      • Aw, thank you. I’m glad I am able to entertain some people with my in(s)anity. XDD

Yes, I’m still single so I’m making the most of it while I still can. šŸ™‚ (oh, and confession time, I was also bitten big-time by the Meteor Garden fever. To this day, I still think Jerry Yan is one fine specimen.)

      • Good for you enjoy it as long as you can šŸ™‚ I was bitten by the Jerry Yan bug too then… I guess our age belong in the same bracket and I couldn’t agree more with you that Jerry Yan up to this day is still yummy and I still follow his tv drama whether in Taiwan or China. šŸ™‚

        Have a good day!
